Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Camel Crush is a gentle, soft-spoken sweetheart who prefers the quieter things in life — a cozy perch, a warm sunbeam, and a human who understands that trust is earned through kindness. She may seem reserved at first, but once she feels safe, you’ll see her true personality shine through in slow blinks, soft purrs, and peaceful companionship.
At 6 years old, Camel Crush has perfected the art of relaxation. She’s long past the kitten energy and instead offers a soothing presence that brings calm to any room. She’s the kind of cat who makes a home feel complete.
Camel Crush is FIV positive, which simply means she should remain indoors and enjoy routine veterinary care — something she’s more than happy to do. FIV doesn’t stop her from living a long, happy, love-filled life, and it certainly doesn’t stop her from being the perfect match for someone special.
She is also Pets for Patriots eligible, making her an excellent companion choice for veterans and active-duty service members seeking a steady, affectionate feline friend.
If you’re looking for a gentle, loving cat with a heart full of quiet devotion, Camel Crush is waiting to meet you. One look into her soft golden eyes, and you’ll know you’ve found your girl. 💛

More about this shelter
Pauls Valley Animal Welfare Society a 501c3 was formed to improve the problems of disease, overpopulation & abandonment of stray animals in Garvin County.
Our organization is made up of over 300 members who care about animals. It is an eclectic group varying in race, age, economic and professional levels and religious affiliations. We are, however, single-minded when confronting our community problems of animal cruelty and neglect, overpopulation and the humane treatment in which our strays and homeless dogs and cats are housed. Our goal is to relieve their suffering, do everything in our power to find them homes and provide a decent animal shelter for Garvin County.
