My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Thunder may be tiny, but he's full of charm. This adorable little black kitten loves playing with his littermates and turning even the simplest toy into an adventure. While he might be a bit shy when meeting new people, he quickly melts into a total cuddle bug once he feels safe and loved.

If you're looking for a sweet, playful kitten who will reward your patience with endless affection, Thunder is your guy. He's ready to find a forever home where he can blossom and share all his gentle love!

More about this shelter

Founded in 1941 by the third female graduate from Cornell University’s College of Veterinary Medicine, SAVE is an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit animal shelter dedicated to protecting the health and welfare of homeless companion animals in the greater Princeton area and beyond. Through six core programs of Rescue, Shelter, Health and Welfare, Spay/Neuter, Foster and Adoption.

The SAVE shelter facility has the capacity to house upwards of 100 animals at a time (approximately 75 cats and 25 dogs). The shelter exceeds no-kill benchmark standards and ensures that adoptable animals facing adversity are given a lifeline, a chance to flourish, and the promise of a better tomorrow.
