Piper is a beautiful 2 year old German Shepherd who recently joined us through Save Oklahoma Pets Society. She came to us as an owner surrender after her previous family could no longer care for her. It’s clear she loved her people very much. Those first few days were hard for her as she tried to understand why she was somewhere new. She kept going to the front door hoping to go home, and it broke our hearts watching her confusion. 💔
With time, patience, and lots of love, Piper has started to settle in and show her gentle, affectionate personality. She’s a little shy and submissive at first but incredibly sweet once she warms up. She loves giving kisses, has been quick to trust, and adjusted right away to her crate which has already become her safe space. 🥰
We’ve also learned she’s a very smart girl who knows sit, down, and stay. She enjoys training time and loves to please. She will make a wonderful companion for someone who appreciates the loyal and intelligent nature that german shepherds are known for. ❤️
