I am a disabled veteran. A few years ago, I started having seizures out of nowhere. Left to assume from a TBI. We found each other when I was really struggling with my ailments. She is beyond a blessing!! Her original owner became too old and was moving to assisted living.
She can read your emotions and cuddle when you need it, nudge your chin up if it is down, hold your hand if crying (literally, she has control of each finger individually!!)
She is in touch with her herd dog roots and is pretty lazy but loves our 1 hour walks in the evening! My daughter is 11 and they cuddle up for movies all the time. You will also see her with my nephews (4 and 6) and both extremely on the spectrum and she does great with them!
