Here's what the humans have to say about me:
He may be called Teddy, but he’s no plushie!
Four-year-old Akita Teddy is a sweet, handsome boy who gets along wonderfully with both dogs and cats! He’s social with the ladies, and while he can be a bit unsure around men at first, he warms up with patience and kindness. True to his Akita roots, Teddy’s protective instincts run deep — he loves hard and wants nothing more than for his family to feel safe and happy.
Teddy is house-trained, neutered, and ready to find his forever home! Because Akitas are a nuanced breed with unique traits and needs, we’d love to see Teddy with a family experienced in the breed and ready to appreciate all the special things that make him who he is.
