Ginger was adopted in July 2025. He was thought to be a little over a year old. He had been in the shelter for over a month, left with another cat who was adopted. In the shelter Ginger was very frightened and disengaged. At home, he is curious and playful. He loves his mouse toy and his scratch pads. He allows me to clip his nails regularly.
A substantial beefcake; Ginger is nearing 20 pounds. He’ll let you know if you’re unsure about breakfast or dinner time.
Shy at first, once Ginger has warmed up to you he likes to be carried around, to be brushed, and to watch you. He is good with calm dogs. Introduction to my resident cat has not gone well, though.
Ginger would do best as the only cat in your home.
