My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Bud, the tuxedo gentleman with the heart of a shy poet and the sass of a tiny bouncer. At 1 year old, Bud is handsome, refined, and absolutely certain that being picked up is optional — and he will absolutely file a formal complaint if you forget.

Bud isn’t much of a “cats’ cat,” but he’ll tolerate other felines as long as they’re respectful. Dogs? Totally fine. Kids? Absolutely — just as long as they appreciate his “personal space policies.”

He’s litter box trained, polite, and carries himself with the dignity of someone who knows he’s dressed better than everyone else in the room.

If you’re looking for a charming, slightly mysterious tuxedo boy who will bond deeply once he trusts you, Bud might be your perfect match.

To meet this classy gentleman, email Critter Cavalry Rescue at CcrTennessee@gmail.com — and be sure to include your city and state so his matchmakers can help!

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Most all our dogs are fostered in Tennessee and transport up to the Northeast or New England. Our fees start at $500 and can be higher depending on the dog and circumstances for their vetting. All fees cover the health certificate, transportation up to designated places for families to pick up their pre-adopted dog, spay/neuter, rabies, all shots, fecal and dewormings, microchip, complete vet check up and 4 way heartworm test if dogs are older than 8 months.

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

We are a full volunteer rescue organization. All of our animals are kept in loving foster homes, receiving the best care possible. A completed application must be submitted and approved to meet with our dogs/pups. A completed application helps us determine compatibility and also helps us to ensure a successful adoption.

More about this rescue

We are a dedicated group of rescue volunteers who desire to find loving homes for animals who have been placed in shelters and are in grave danger of euthanasia. Our heart's desire is to provide you with a loving companion for many years to come.
