My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Zoey is a lively, playful pup whose heart beats a little faster for two things: fun and treats. Whether she's chasing a squeaky toy, doing zoomies in the yard, or showing off her best "sit" for a snack, Zoey approaches life with pure enthusiasm.
Though she can be shy around new people at first, Zoey's gentle caution comes from wanting to feel safe. Give her a little time-and maybe a tasty treat or two-and she'll blossom into a loyal, affectionate companion who adores making new friends. Once she warms up, she becomes a total lovebug, eager for pets, snuggles, and any adventure by your side. Zoey does well with some dogs, but she appreciates a proper introduction before deciding if they're her kind of friend. A meet-and-greet is essential if you already have a resident pup. She's also good with kids once she's had a little time to get comfortable-patience and calm interactions help her shine. Come check her out today!

Additional adoption info

While you can’t put a price tag on a lifetime of hugs, kisses, companionship and unconditional love, there are costs involved in caring for a healthy pet. When you adopt a pet from the Siouxland Humane Society, we’ve already performed procedures that are critical for maintaining his or her good health. These important benefits are provided to you in the price of the adoption which include the following:

• Initial Preventative Vaccinations
• Deworming
• Microchipping
• Free Veterinary Health Exam
