Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My name is Sugar. I’m a cute soft brown tabby colored little girl. I’m told I’m a feral
kitten. My mom taught me not to trust people and when she left me I was scared and
hungry for too long. That’s difficult to forget and it’s going to take some time to unlearn
but I am slowly getting used to people. If you sit quietly next to my cage so I get used to
you then I’ll lick Churu off your fingers and sometimes if you offer me a plate of delicious
food I forget to be afraid and let you scratch my neck and ears. I REALLY like to play. Put
a catnip mouse near me I have to chase it and a rolling ball is irresistible. Some people
think I may not be adoptable because people want a kitten that likes to cuddle and being
picked up and held is scary for me. If you would enjoy having a curious playful kitten in
your home and you don’t mind being carefully patient with my fears than maybe we could
be friends. Want to meet me?

If you would like to adopt one of our fine furry friends please come in. We strongly encourage you to bring anyone that will be living in the house with your new pet to visit the animal first. This will allow you to see how the animal interacts and if they will be right for your household. If you decide the pet is the one for you we have a short application for you to fill out and a required donation fee. All pets will be up to date on their shots and almost all will be spayed or neutered.
