Hi, my name is Arianne. I don’t remember much about my life before rescue, but I do remember being very scared, very shy, and very pregnant when my foster mama found me. I was so frightened that I stayed curled up in the bathtub, too nervous to move anywhere else. My foster mom brought my food and water right to me while I slowly learned I was safe.
After about a week, I finally felt comfortable enough to explore the house. That’s when my foster mama began to see the real me—a sweet, gentle, intelligent cat who just needed time and patience.
When it was time to deliver my babies, I surprised my foster mama! She stepped out briefly to drop off a package and buy some food—she was gone only about 30 minutes—but when she came back, I had already delivered three perfect kittens all on my own. I cleaned them, cared for them, and even cut their umbilical cords myself. My foster mama teared up because she was so proud of me.
I will be a loving, calm, loyal companion once we build trust. I’m smart and learn routines quickly. I’m not a picky eater—I enjoy both dry and soft food.
Because I’m a sensitive soul, I would do best in a quiet home with:
-No kids
-No dogs
-And either being the only cat or living with a mature, gentle cat like me
If you give me patience, kindness, and a peaceful home, I will give you endless gentle love, soft companionship, and the sweetest friendship.
Special note from my foster mom: Arianne is a very shy but sweet cat. She deserves a quiet home where she can build trust and enjoy love and care. She is such a sweet girl and watching her get comfortable with you and her surroundings is very fulfilling indeed.

Additional adoption info
Adoption fee is $225 per adult cat, and $300 for kittens (under 8 months old).
This ensures that the cats that come into our care receive the attention they need, are spayed or neutered, and receive a rabies vaccination at the appropriate age. For City of Toronto residents, the adoption fee includes a mandatory City of Toronto cat license that is valid for one year. As you can imagine, these fees only begin to cover our costs; donations and ongoing fundraising efforts carry us the rest of the way!
Note:
-Senior cats (8 years or older) have an adoption fee of the adopter's choice, vs. our standard adult adoption fee of $225.
-Our adoption fee for an adult bonded pair (8 months or older) is $175 per cat vs. $225 per cat. Thanks for giving two loving friends a home together!
