MEET TIMBER!!!

Timber is super friendly and falls in love with everyone he meets! This big love-bug is already housebroken AND doggy-door trained! (He is not yet crate trained, as the foster has not attempted to do kennel-training, so his potential adopter will need to be willing to do, if crate training is desired)

Timber is a higher-energy boy, so he will do best in an Active home. He's got a great disposition, is very affectionate and is even-tempered. He's great with kids and is very gentle with them! And he's done great with dog intros thus far, but has not been introduced to any cats yet.

. He would LOVE another playful dog as a buddy!

He is an awesome leash-walker and an awesome car rider. He loves his toys and is always playful. Timber is very obedient, super intelligent and is easy to train, so new tricks would be a breeze! He's just a big, goofy lug-full of love! His Foster-dad describes him as "calm, docile and very sweet".

Additional adoption info

All potential adopters will be required to complete our Adoption Application, read and sign our Adopting Policies and Procedures, and participate in a home visit by one of our adoption representatives. Our Adoption Application is located on our website: www.underdogaz.com.

We also have a mandatory two-week Foster With Intent to Adopt trial period for all animals in order to be certain the pet is a good fit for your family.

Our standard adoption fee for dogs is $200; puppies are $250.

Non-standard fees do sometimes apply. Puppies younger than six months may have a higher fee. Designer dogs, purebreds, and other toy type breeds may also have higher adoption fees than the standard $200.

We do, however, have discounted fees for dogs that are seniors, a pair of dogs adopted together, or cats. If you are a veteran or an active duty service member, please ask about our partnership with Pets For Patriots.

All Underdog pets are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped prior to adoption.

We are a 501c3 non profit, your donations save lives and are 100% tax deductible.

Underdog Rescue of Az is an all volunteer organization dedicated to the rescuing and re-homing of abandoned and/or abused dogs.

We are a foster-based rescue, and do not maintain a physical base of operations. All of our animals are placed with loving, caring safe foster families until they are adopted. We are also an "All Breed" rescue, and do not discriminate based on breed, age, size, etc.

Underdog's mission also includes educating the public on the issue of animal welfare. We strive to promote shelter reform, spay and neuter education and emergency rescue information & assistance.
