Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Simba is just the cutest boy and he`s looking to warm up your home with his friendly and excited personality!
Simba has been described by staff while in our care as being a very friendly dog with a higher energy level (Looking for a running buddy?!), Simba loves attention and affection and will not say no to pets and once he`s comfortable, he`ll even show you his belly for some rubs too.
When meeting another dog in our care, Simba had a playful and forward energy while remaining loose. It is recommended for any potential doggy siblings to be brought in to meet Simba to ensure compatibility!
If you`re looking for a dog who is very affectionate but will also bring a lot of fun to your daily routine, Simba may be a fit. Come in to meet him!
This pet is eligible for an Adoption Audition! What is an Adoption Audition? It’s a 5-day, no-strings-attached, trial adoption period. You can take this pet home to try it out! Interested? Come to the shelter any time during open hours and talk to one of our Customer Care staff!
Be sure to check the `shelter information` box on the listing to see if the pet is located at our Fairfax Campus (4500 West Ox Road, Fairfax) or our Lorton Campus (8875 Lorton Road, Lorton). Then, come in during our open hours! Both of our locations are open Tuesdays and Wednesdays 12-5 p.m., Thursdays and Fridays 12-7 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays 11 a.m.-5 p.m. For more information on our adoption process, including requirements and fees, visit: www.fairfaxcounty.gov/animalshelter/adopt
