Mellow truly lives up to his name, from car rides to playtime, he always has a sweet and calm demeanor. He is very smart and a little clingy. He loves people and frequently turns on his back for belly rubs. Just be sure not to rub his belly for more than a couple seconds, he's sensitive about it sometimes.
He and his brother (Dynamite) are almost 10 years old, still love to play with toys but won't exhaust you like a kitten would. 20 minutes a day of play is more than enough for them. Mellow also loves being brushed - he purrs and tumbles onto his back to give you better space to brush him. His beautiful, all orange coat and green eyes simply add to his appeal. He will come to greet you when you come home.
Mellow is a very goofy and amusing cat as you can see in his videos. He is especially treat motivated. His foster mom was able to teach him to jump on the cat tree with treats! You will likely be able to train him as he's quite smart for a cat. He is not fooled by the laser pointer, unlike his brother! He is bonded to his brother Dynamite and cannot go without him. They love each other very much.
Mellow loves to watch the birds out the window. His foster home has a bird feeder right outside the window and his cat tree next to it. Mellow will come with many of his favorite things, his cat tree, litter boxes, plates, toys, treats. His foster parents are willing to zoom call or meet with you if you want to see him. They would do best in a house with no dogs.
All of our cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, microchipped, tested for FIV/FELV , and up to date on vaccinations including rabies, distemper, and de-wormer.

We will do a vet check if you now own or have owned pets in the past.
Sign Adoption Contract
At the adoption you will sign our adoption contract, be given an adoption booklet with the cat's medical records, and pay the adoption fee.
