Meet Bean!
Bean is a 3-year-old, 47-lb English Pointer who recently tested heartworm negative. This sweet boy is gentle, social, and easy to have around.
Bean spent a long weekend in a foster home, and he impressed everyone. He never barked, walked beautifully on a leash, and adapted quickly to crate training—by the third night he was sleeping quietly in his crate with no fuss.
He also met the foster’s cats and showed zero reaction, and the cats remained completely relaxed around him. He’s friendly with other dogs and enjoys their company.
Bean is a very affectionate boy who loves being near his people. He has a calm, loving presence and is ready to fit right into a home that will give him attention, structure, and lots of love.

Dog/Puppy Adoption Fees are $140 for Puppies under 1 year, $110 for Adults 1 to 6 years, and $95 for Adults over 6 years. Includes; Spay/Neuter, DA2PPV, Bordetella and Rabies Vaccinations (if age appropriate) and includes indicating tags, Heartworm Testing, Deworming, and Flea Treatment if needed.
Cat/Kitten Adoption Fees are $45 and includes; Spay/Neuter, FVRCP and Rabies Vaccinations (if age appropriate) and includes indicating tags, FIV/Felv Testing, Deworming, and Flea Treatment if needed.

Stray Animals
Stray animals will be held at the shelter for a minimum of three days, but pets with tags will be held for five days to give owners a chance to claim them. After the holding period, the animals are available for adoption. The shelter euthanizes an animal only if absolutely necessary (public danger or liability, damaged beyond repair, behavioral issues, etc.).
