My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Gucci!  He’s set for the holidays, he just needs a home!

This handsome Pittie mix is as loving and affectionate as they come. Gucci adores everyone he meets — people, dogs, and even cats.

Gucci’s world was turned upside down when his owner sadly passed away, but his loving family is fostering him until he finds a new forever home. He’s well cared for, walks nicely on a leash, and is crate trained. He is gentle and never aggressive. Gucci is still working on being fully house-trained, but he’s making great progress.

If you’re looking for a loyal, gentle companion with a heart of gold, Gucci is ready to be your new best friend.

More about this rescue

Peace4paws is a 501 (c) 3 non profit public charity centered in Northern New Jersey. Through our foster home system, we are able to support the rehoming and adoption of dogs from kill shelters as well as facilities of research and related fields. Founded in 2007, our initial mission focused on supporting sanctuary and forever homes for animals retired from use in research and related fields. In the past few years we have broadened our scope of rescue. We continue to help our own retired research animals and independent sanctuaries but also save shelter dogs. We are able to do this work through the efforts of our volunteer network and generous donors. Please see our website or facebook page "Peace4Paws" to meet our adoptable dogs, success stories or volunteer opportunities. We organize fundraising events centered around yoga, music, health, or animal friendly activities. We are also involved with student outreach and education. We would love to work with you.
