Nesta is now in a foster home but still looking for her forever home!
Nesta, #MASA19060, is a one-year-old, heartworm-negative girl who broke out of the shelter for a foster field trip over the weekend and had the time of her life! This girl is on our current deadline plea list and needs someone willing to take a chance on her. Here's what Nesta's field trip chaperone said about their Saturday together:
"Nesta is a big bundle of fun, precious energy. She sat like a pro in the car and thoroughly enjoyed sticking her nose out the window. We took a long walk at Shelby Farms to get some energy out; she was just the best! We passed many groups of families and dogs, and she did great with all of them.
Nesta loves to give kisses and snuggle in your lap after doing some zoomies. She is a very lovable, sweet girl. Please meet this affectionate girl; you won't regret it."
A staff member said this about Nesta: "Nesta is a happy-go-lucky girl. She absolutely LOVES pets and attention. She will not allow me to pass her kennel without saying hello and giving her a scratch on the cheek through the kennel bars. Once I enter the kennel, she places her paws on my leg, and then I have to pet her for precisely two minutes before she is satisfied with it and wants to be fed. Sweet girl!"

Our standard adoption fee is $75 for dogs and $70 for cats. This includes spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines, heartworm test (and treatment medication if needed) for dogs, FeLV test for cats, collar, leash for dogs, and a customized ID tag.
All adoptions must be completed in-person and require a driver's license and payment in the form of cash or a credit/debit card. MAS does not accept checks for adoption fees.
