My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi my foster parents call me Skippy John Joe or Bam Bam. I love to be with people or my foster kitty siblings. I hate being alone, I make it known by screaming. I’m very vocal and like to talk. I like when I get kisses and snuggles and will start purring. I’m playful but not as much as my foster kitty brother. However, I do play, I hate losing I am a big baby and scream like I am being tortured. When it comes to food I do like to eat canned food, I like when they surprise me with different types of flavors. I also eat kibbles but right now that I am a growing kitty I rather canned and my foster parents spoil me. I spend time with my foster parents I love to lay on their chest or top of their shoulder or anywhere on them actually. I’d love a family that will want to snuggle me and give me tons of attention and of course a friend to play with and not be alone. I got to meet a smaller human and I wasn’t scared so if you have one that is nice I wouldn’t mind. I’m not jumpy when meeting new people so I am eager to meet you.

More about this rescue

Our mission is to provide the programs and services needed to eliminate the killing of at-risk animals due to lack of space, adopter or foster.

San Antonio Pets Alive! is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Due to alarming euthanasia rates, San Antonio Pets Alive! (SAPA!) was founded in 2012. SAPA! is unique—it is the only high paced, high-volume rescue in San Antonio, saving 6,000 at-risk cats and dogs annually.

Since its inception, SAPA! has saved more than 47,000 dogs and cats. SAPA! provides safety nets for the dogs and cats that fall through the cracks of all other lifesaving options and end up on the euthanasia lists, often with just hours to be saved. SAPA! promotes the availability of these dogs and cats to other rescues, adopters and fosters.

questions.

If you are interested in fostering an animal, please visit our website and fill out our online Foster Application. The more foster homes we have the more animals we can pull off the euthanasia list and the more lives we can save together!
