This helps FuRRR Feline Rescue with pet care costs.
Midnight - Female DOB 5/12/2024 Domestic Short Hair - Black with White spot on chest
Midnight and her sister were believed to have been born into a southern family that did not properly care for them. Early one morning, both cats were discovered at a local dump yard by a site employee. Despite being found at a dump, they were both very friendly and not feral, as one might expect from cats in such a location. Once the sisters came north, they both went their own ways and were not bonded, so each one was listed to find their home separately.
Midnight will get a little stressed with changes, and will take a couple of days to destress and settle in. She is a very sweet girl, and a little on the shy side initially, but once she warms up, she will come up to you for pets and attention. She is such a love! Once you start petting her, she will flop on her side but don’t be confused and think she is asking you to rub her belly! Not! She loves a cardboard box to roll around in like cats do on warm cement. She has an elevator up button!
Midnight came to us with a head tilt and was seen by our vet for a diagnosed ear infection, and she has been treated for it. The treatment did not, however, clear up her head tilt totally, and we were told that she will likely always have that cute head tilt. But that just draws her sweetness out. She is not a lap sitter but will sit next to you once she is comfortable with her surroundings. She loves a warm cushion or anything fluffy to sit/sleep on. She is not a demanding diva.
Midnight would do best to be your only kitty getting all your love and attention for herself. She would do best with no dogs and older children only.
