My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Curious and outgoing, Tippy is the queen of affectionate head-bonks and will really throw her whole body into it when you give her a scritch! Despite being all-grown-up, she is still eager to play with toys, and has proven to be an excellent mouser in her foster home.

Tippy loves humans of all shapes and sizes, but her absolute FAVORITE people are men who let her perch on their shoulder - it's her favorite place to be!! If you're working late nights at your desk or a hard-core gamer, she would love to perch on your shoulder and purr away.

Tippy is about 6 years old and had lived as a barn cat prior to coming to us, but she is far too friendly towards humans, and MUCH happier to be warm inside with her people. Tippy gets along ok with other animals with a proper introduction, but has been known to swat at some of the younger cats that don't have a good handle on the concept of "personal space." We think she'd do best as an only cat, but could also work well with a calm companion close in age. She is spayed, up-to-date on shots and microchipped. All she needs now is a forever home to call her own!

More about this rescue

Feral Folk was originally founded to rescue and spread awareness about mislabeled shelter cats, and to promote TNR efforts for true ferals. We currently provide TNR services to the New London, WI area, and can assist in transporting barn cats to spay/neuter clinics.

While intakes of friendly adoptables are currently closed, we are happy to share courtesy posts for community members in need of finding a new home for their pet. Reach out to feralfolkmail@gmail.com or find us on Facebook if you want to submit a courtesy post.
