What is a gorgeous 9 year old girl, white with black spots, who has been returned to AGR. She had lived with her previous adopters since she was a puppy, so she never raced. She became increasingly intolerant of young children who harassed her, so she would do best in a quiet, adult home. What lived compatibility with a large mixed breed and a chihuahua. She is not cat tolerant. Folks who have senior dogs say they make wonderful companions, especially for other seniors. Please consider giving her a loving, harassment-free home for her remaining years.
FOSTER UPDATE:
What has found my two greyhounds to be good companions. She is crowding right in with my two as greeting and will spend time with them without hesitation. Almost took off with Prince yesterday when he did his yard run. Seems to think that it looks like fun. She is an independent lady when it comes to seeking the area she wants.
WHAT NEEDS HER FOREVER HOME NOW!
What is 9 years old and we would really like to find her a forever home. She would do best in a quite home as an only dog or perhaps another older dog. She is not cat tolerant but is small dog tolerant. She does have an eye condition known as pannus which is treated with drops that are not expensive. WE ARE WILLING TO WAVE THE ADOPTION FEE FOR THE RIGHT HOME. Please spread the word about her. She has been in the same home since she was a puppy but due to the family's inability to police their small children (ear pulling, riding, sitting on, etc.) she has been returned. She is a sweet girl who deserves a place to spend her old age. She would be perfect for someone who wants a laid back quiet girl.
