This 8-week-old Bernedoodle baby is truly one of a kind. His vet is calling his coat pattern color-diluted alopecia, meaning his hair grows short where he’s brown and long where he’s white. It’s what happens when breeders try to play God and Mother Nature says, “okay but make it interesting.”
Despite his unique look, Olaf is the sweetest little soul. Total cuddle bug. Loves other dogs. Loves people. Loves being told he’s cute (which… is constant). And yes, true to his name he really does love warm hugs.
He’s also mostly potty trained already, which feels illegal for an 8-week-old, but here we are.
Because of his genetic coat quirk, we don’t know if he’ll have any future skin issues he may, he may not, but right now he’s healthy, happy, and thriving.

Adoption fees are $275 for dogs over 6 months and $300 for dogs 6 months and younger. This fee includes spay/neuter, rabies shot if dog is over 4 months old, parvo/distemper shots up to the time of adoption, fecal check, microchip, and all dogs are heartworm negative.

Rover Rescue is an all-breed dog rescue group located 40 miles west of Chicago in Aurora, IL. The dogs/puppies in our organization have been rescued from high-kill animal shelters located in Illinois and Indiana.
