--FOSTER PUPDATE-- Genulas A179528 51 lb. spayed female, approximately 2 years old
-Meet Genulas (known as Shadow in her foster home), a stunning black German Shepherd with a heart as big as her beautiful ears. She’s incredibly smart and learns new routines and directions quickly. Genulas absolutely loves being with her people—whether you’re relaxing on the couch or moving around the house, she’s happiest right by your side. -On walks, she gets excited during the first stretch, so a harness is recommended, but she settles nicely as she continues. She’s starting to enjoy toys and is learning how fun fetch can be. At night, she sleeps comfortably in her crate and just likes reassurance that her people are nearby. -Genulas is fully potty trained and very well behaved in the home. She has had slow, successful introductions to two of our resident dogs and gets along well with them. She may need the occasional manners reminder, as she can get a bit jumpy when excited, but she responds well to gentle corrections. -She enjoys car rides, handled her bath like a champ, and is a sweet, affectionate girl who just wants love and stability. Genulas will make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a loyal, loving, intelligent dog to share life with.
This pet is in a foster home! If you are interested in meeting Genulas, please email foster@friendsofdacc.org with subject line “Genulas A179528”
