Afroditi "Affy" is a guessed at 3 year old, 47.4#, mixed breed. This girl entered the rescue in early November - she had never worn a collar/leash, never saw a vet, has been a momma dog in the past, and was covered with fleas.
If the pictures do not explain well enough, she has learned how to be amazing on leash! Affy has made trips to the vet - got all caught up on shots and will be spayed on Dec 26th (at which time she will become fully adoptable), and she made it out to a few stores (still needs more practice - but is get much more confident). She is one very lucky and sweet gal deserving of a forever home!
She is fully house trained, crate trained, gets along with cats, dogs (with proper and slow intros), and her foster home thinks she would do better in a home with older vs little kids, as she is still pretty shy and needs people around her with that understanding.
Her foster says:
"Affy loves to greet you when you return home with some "talking", would benefit from another dog in the home to gain more confidence and learn from, and does take time to trust new people and dogs, so several meetings may be needed - or a strong understanding of the 3-3-3 rule to give her plenty of time and space to learn she is safe.
>Afroditi is current on shots, HW negative, on monthly prevention for heartworm/fleas, and is set to be spayed on Dec 26, 2025 making her the perfect "late" Christmas gift!
