My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

👑 Meet Monty: The King-Sized Senior Pom! 💖 (Las Vegas)
Forget everything you thought you knew about Pomeranians! Meet Monty, a truly larger-than-life senior gentleman ready to settle into his forever castle right here in Las Vegas. If you're looking for a dog who is pure sweetness, easy-going, and loves to relax, Monty is your guy!
🌟 Monty's Best Features
Personality: You will not meet a sweeter, more loving senior! Monty is exceptionally chill, gentle, and affectionate. He's a true gentleman through and through.
Hobbies: He loves the finer things in life! He enjoys leisurely walks and is the perfect co-pilot for car rides.
Affection Level: This boy lives for love! He absolutely adores belly rubs and assimilates quickly—he’ll be a loving, loyal part of your family almost instantly.
🏡 What Monty Needs in a Home
Sleep Routine: Monty is a heavy sleeper! He currently enjoys sleeping soundly in his own bed next to his person. He might love to sleep in, but he's happy to start the day when you do!
Potty Habits: He is reliable and flexible! Monty is crate-trained and is comfortable using both the outdoors and potty pads inside.
Health Note: Monty is a little overweight and is currently on a weight management food plan. This is an easy fix with continued dedication, ensuring this big boy stays happy and healthy! He just had a dental performed, and his bloodwork showed no disturbing medical conditions.
If you’re ready to open your heart and home to a truly sweet, larger-than-average Pomeranian who is ready to be your best friend, Monty is waiting for you!

More about this rescue

Our goal is to provide quality animal welfare and rescue for Pomeranians who have been abandoned in shelters or do not have homes. The focus of the Pom Palace Dog Rescue is to help older and handicapped Poms and Pom mixes return to health and become adoptable. A Pomeranian can live up to 18 years of age and many are abandoned at an age that many people consider old. But in reality they have can live long and rewarding lives and enrich their owners lives for many years.
