My name is Babka!

What my friends at OHS say about me:

• I've been spending the last several weeks in a foster home, where I've learned how to trust people again!


• I might start of shy, but once I get to know you, I'll greet you with happy wags and bump your hand for pets.


• It will be important to spend a few weeks with me in a secure back yard before trying to introduce me to new places, people or things. I am at my best when I get a lot of support and do better with people I have built a trusting relationship with.


• I have some previous injuries to my hind legs that makes it a little harder to get around, but I'm still enjoying life and would love to be your companion around the home, in the yard and on short neighborhood walks!

The type of home I require:

• I must go to a home with a fully fenced yard. No apartments or busy neighborhoods.


• Everyone living in the household will need to meet prior to my adoption.


• I will need to meet any resident dogs first before going home with you.

My adoption process:

• OHS has created a more in-depth adoption questionnaire, which can be accessed via the "Meet Me" button at the top of the profile.


• Once it is reviewed, you will receive an email with a link to schedule a phone consultation.


• After your consult, if it feels like a good match, your adoption counselor will schedule an in-person meet and greet and you will meet me with our volunteer and staff handlers. If you fall in love, you will have the option to come in and spend time with me to build a relationship prior to adopting!
