My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Johan is a sweet fella with a charming personality! He came to PAWS as a stray, so much of his history is a mystery! His foster family said he was a great house guest and has proven to be quite the affectionate boy here at the shelter. Johan has done well with dogs big and small and wouldn`t mind having another canine companion in his new home, or being the center of attention. If this handsome guy seems like the dog for you, inquire about Johan!

More about this shelter

PAWS is people helping animals. We are the kind of people who delight in the company of an animal friend, who are awed by a majestic eagle in flight. Like you, we understand that animals enrich our lives. We also know they cannot speak for themselves and need protection. That is why PAWS brings together people like you to ensure animals are respected, safe and have a voice.

Our Mission: PAWS is a champion for animals—rehabilitating injured and orphaned wildlife, sheltering and adopting homeless cats and dogs, and educating people to make a better world for animals and people.

We operate a shelter for cats and dogs and a wildlife rehabilitation center, and offer a comprehensive education program.
