Dog's Name: Pup Rosie (ROS1225ALAFD)
Estimated Breed: Hound / Cattle Dog mix
Approximate Age: 5 months
Approximate Weight: 25 lbs
Currently Living at: Boarding
Adoption Fee: $500
DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Hi there, I’m Rosie! I’m a young hound/cattle dog mix—well, that’s everyone’s best guess, but I just call it adorable. I found myself in a very full shelter down in Alabama, which was a pretty scary place for a pup like me. Thankfully, the wonderful folks at K-9 Lifesavers scooped me up and gave me a real chance. I’m not just a pretty face, I’m friendly, sweet, and I absolutely love everyone I meet—humans, dogs, you name it. If you want a social butterfly who also gives excellent snuggles, I’m your girl. Since I’m still young, I’m right in that perfect age for training and socialization. And with my breed mix, you can bet I’m going to be a smart little cookie. Teach me tricks, take me on adventures, show me the world—I’m ready for it all! If you’re looking for a loving companion to explore life with, could that be you? I sure hope so. Apply today—I can’t wait to meet you!
Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.
Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.
Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home. For more information on becoming a foster parent, and our Foster Program, visit http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/foster/ or email our Foster Coordinator at foster@k-9lifesavers.org
SPONSOR ME! Help Save Lives! Make a tax-deductible donation today and help save a life. Donations help us offset boarding costs and additional medical treatment for those dogs who need it.
