My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DOB: 02/2025

Look at this handsome little dude! Rowen has soft, silvery fur, adorable white “feeties,” and the most adorable feature of all — a short, crooked little tail that makes him even more irresistible. He’s a total Velcro cat who loves to follow his people, happily carries toys around, and gets along well with other cats.

Rowen is full of joy and character — smart, curious, playful, and incredibly sweet. He actively seeks affection and absolutely loves being held.

His sister, Rowena, is also available if you’re looking for the perfect built-in playmate duo!

If you’re hoping for a kitten who will grow into your lifelong best friend, look no further. Rowen can’t wait to meet you and become part of your family. 🐾💕

Adoption Fees:
• $100 for adults (12+ months)
• $125 for kittens (under 12 months)

All cats adopted through Silverton Cat Rescue come spayed/neutered, FIV/FELV tested, microchipped, treated for fleas and worms, and have received age-appropriate vaccines.

We are not first-come, first-served. Our goal is to match each kitty with the purrfect home.

Silverton Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, run entirely by volunteers. All cats live in foster homes. Please be patient as we coordinate with fosters to arrange meet-and-greets.

Why Most of Our Kittens Are Adopted in Pairs

Kittens are highly social and thrive when they have a feline companion. A buddy helps them develop healthy play habits, confidence, and emotional well-being. Experts recommend adopting two kittens together, or adopting a solo kitten only if you already have another young cat at home.

Surprisingly, two kittens are often half the work of one—they keep each other entertained, comforted, and well-socialized.
