My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Howdy! Meet Simon.
Simon is a dog that will keep you on you toes. He loves toys and will self entertain (or entertain you as you watch him). He is full of life and ready for a car ride to the next adventure. He has the attention span of a squirrel and will do wonderful in a home that matches his busy energy.

Here's the deets:
- Simon does well with most dogs. We think he prefers calmer dogs but a meet and greet with your dog is required to make sure everyone gets along.
- Kids? Simon isn't sure yet but bring them also to see.
- Cats? We don't think he cares. He might do well with a cat in the home.
- He loves people and will greet every stranger with a big excited jump. He would benefit from training to break the jumping but it's not required.

If you would like your very own kangaroo, Simon would love to meet you!Thank you for showing an interest in our pets. We can never guarantee the breeds of the animals. We do not DNA test. Please feel free to call us with any questions.

Their adoption process

1.
Submit Application

Select an animal to meet with and fill out the Adoption Form online.

2.
Meet the Pet

Schedule an appointment to come to the shelter and meet the pet.

3.
Take the Pet Home

If everything goes well during the meet-n-greet process you will be able to take home your new pet the same day or arrange a 24hr hold.

Additional adoption info

We ask that you view our adoptable animals and then submit an online application prior to coming in.
Once your application is submitted, feel free to stop by anytime during our normal operating hours.
We do request that if you plan to adopt that you bring a copy of your driver’s license or other government issued ID and vaccination records for your current pets. If you rent, please bring a copy of your lease and the pet policy. We may need additional information but one of our adoption assistants will let you know.

We ask that you view our adoptable animals and then submit an online application prior to coming in. We are open Tuesday to Saturday 10am-12pm and 1pm-4pm for adoptions. The shelter is closed on Sundays, Mondays and major holidays.
