My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Zuri is a one year old GSD mix with a heart full of love and legs made for adventure!! She is a petite pup, full grown at 40 pounds but packs a big personality. The sweet girl is potty trained, crate trained and knows basic commands like sit and down--she's super smart so eager to learn more especially if treats and toys are involved.

She is playful and active and loves to chase a ball or explore outdoors with a long walk, a hike or just romping around the yard. She's always up for fun but end her day with the best snuggles. She adores her people and forms strong bonds, though she can be a little shy at first. With a little patience and maybe a treat or two she warms up quickly. Because Zuri plays with enthusiasm, she's do best in a home with older kids who can match her energy and play style. She's got so much love to give and is looking for a family that will include her in all of life's adventures. She is being fostered locally and meet can be arranged with approved application. www.sunnypawsrescue.org

More about this rescue

We are a group of volunteers who have volunteered in rescue for almost 10 years. We are so committed to rescue, spay/neuter, medical care for homeless dogs and wanted to make a difference so we started our own non-profit, 501c3, USDA approved rescue in Massachusetts. We work with rescue partners in Texas to address the growing incidence of animal homelessness.
