Marnie is a sweet 3 year old female cat. Here’s what her foster volunteers say about her:

How would you describe the cat's general personality? Fun, loving, and very chill.

Does the cat enjoy being pet? She loves being touched and held.

If yes, on what parts of its body does the cat like to be pet? Everywhere.

Are there any parts of its body that the cat does NOT like being touched? ^

Does the cat come on your lap? Marnie LOVES being a lap-cat.

Does the cat like to be held? Yes.

Does the cat sleep in your bed? She sleeps in our room, but likes her own space.

Does the cat seek your attention? Yes - but also likes her space at times.

Does the cat like to play? She is very playful and loves toys and having fun.

What are the cat's favorite games and toys? Her favorite toy is the stick with the string and toy at the end.

How vocal is the cat? Not very - she rarely meows.

What kinds of sounds does the cat make? Little meeps.

Does the cat scratch a scratcher? Marnie uses a cardboard scratching pad at the moment.

Does the cat always use the litter box? Yes.

What food and frequency is the cat currently eating? Purina One dry food, Tiki Cat wet food.

Grazing dry food through the day and Tiki Cat at night.

Is the cat picky about food? Not very. She doesn’t like Friskies.

What is the cat's favorite treat? The tube things.

Does the cat ever swat (claws in) at you? If so, under what circumstances? No.

Has the cat ever scratched (claws out) you? No.

Does the cat ever nip (teeth without breaking skin) you? She occasionally will do love bites, but she stops after you redirect her with a toy or something.

Has the cat ever bitten you (breaking skin)? No.

To the best of your knowledge, how does the cat react to new people? Social? Fearful? As far as we can tell, she is very loving toward new people. She is not shy at all - extremely social. One of the most social cats I have ever seen, honestly.

If you have observed the cat with other animals, please describe how they get on? No interactions observed - we don’t have other animals. But she did well with other cats at her rescuer's home prior to coming to us.

Does that cat have any cute/quirky traits that aren’t covered by the previous questions? She loves being close to us and likes to always have a paw or another part of her touching us.

In your opinion, what is the best thing about the cat? Why should an adopter choose THIS cat to adopt? The best thing about Marnie is her amazing personality. She has such a fun and loving disposition, and having her around is so great. So far, there haven’t been any challenges to having her. She’s amazing!
