If you’ve been waiting for a dog who can keep up with your adventures, make you laugh daily, and snuggle like it’s her full-time job… Maggie has entered the chat.
This 1-year-old 50ish lb Greyhound/Catahoula mix (best guess) is a perfect combo of fun-loving energy and melt-your-heart sweetness. She’s the type of girl who will chase a ball like she’s training for the Fetch Olympics, then flop dramatically across your lap like she hasn’t played in decades.
Maggie is friendly, social, and absolutely adores people and other dogs — she’s the life of the party AND the cuddle session. Kids? She loves them too! Cats? Still a mystery, but she’s young enough that with a proper intro, things could go just fine.
🏆 Maggie’s Special Skills Include:
• Being the first one to the door when adventure calls
• Wiggling so hard her whole body participates
• Making new dog friends everywhere she goes
• Believing fetch is a legally binding contract
• Switching from turbo mode to snuggle mode in 0.2 seconds
• Giving big, soulful “love me forever” eyes
She’s kennel trained, housebroken, and ready to slide right into your family’s routine without missing a beat. Whether it’s walks, hikes, backyard zoomies, Netflix marathons, snack-sharing, or bedtime snuggles — Maggie is 110% in.
This sweet girl is currently with one of our rescue partners. We work together like a well-oiled life-saving machine, and we’ll gladly pull her into Hay Dude Rescue to complete her adoption once her forever family says, “That’s our girl!”

Hay Dude Equine Rescue, in Boerne, TX, does not have a shelter - ALL of our dogs, are raised in foster homes in the San Antonio area. Each pup comes spayed or neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations that are appropriate for their age, microchipped, heartworm tested and on current on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.
