My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mia is a sweet senior gal in search of a forever family to spend her golden years with! She was adopted in 2017 but unfortunately had to return to us. She is a very sweet girl who loves pets, attention, and napping all day. She has had senior bloodwork done and been examined by our vet and appears perfectly healthy! She would like a home that is on the calmer side so that she can fully relax with her family. It seems she would do best in a home with no other pets as they cause her stress. She should do fine with respectful children that understand boundaries and kitty body language. We would love for Mia to find a forever home for the holidays. Come and meet her and fall in love!

More about this shelter

At Darbster Rescue, our goal is to place kittens, cats, and dogs with great, forever homes in New England. The pets are primarily from South Florida and other southern states where the euthanasia rates are very high. Our shelters are in New Hampshire which has a strong demand for pets relative to supply and where shelters like ours are strictly no kill operations. Our animals will go to their new homes spayed or neutered, UTD on shots and a clean bill of health from FL and NH. We are here to help everyone look for the perfect match for themselves and their family.
