Hi! I’m Gibson. I’m 3 months old, and yep, I’m a handsome boy! My fur is medium to long (we’ll see as I grow), and I rock a stylish black-and-white coat. What makes me special? My unique facial markings and GORGEOUS long whiskers. I am an expert Christmas tree climber (watch out, ornaments!) Professional napper - especially in the cat tree hammock. Cozy is my vibe. I LOVE wrestling, playing and snuggling with my brother-from-another-mother, Gunnar. Sure, he can be a little annoying sometimes (younger brothers, am I right?), but he’s my best BRUH. We were both singletons until FHS brought us together. Thanks to LOTS of love and care, we grew big and strong and ready for our forever home! Right now, we live with a senior cat who tolerates our kitten shenanigans. We haven’t met kids under 10 or dogs yet, so that’s still a mystery. One last thing…Vet visits kind of freak me out. All those strange smells and noises - yikes! So, I put on my “tough guy” act with a little hiss and growl. And adoption events? Whew-they can be a lot for kittens like me and Gunnar. All the noise, other cats, and even the smell of dogs! So, we might be shy at first and not show off our best sides right away. But give us a cozy spot and a little love, and you’ll see the real us—your snuggly, whiskered best friends!

Once approved and you agree the pet is right for you, sign the contract, pay the adoption fee and take your new family member home!

The Fayette County Humane Society (FCHS), staffed entirely by volunteers, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization supported entirely by individual and corporate donations. Because we do not have a shelter, all of the animals we rescue live in temporary foster homes until they are adopted.
