My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Whitney A Special Girl Looking for Her Forever Christmas Miracle! Five-year-old Whitney is a beautiful mixed-breed girl with a gentle soul and a hopeful heart. Her journey to us was a long and challenging one. For over two weeks, she roamed the streets of Hayward, surviving on her own and expertly avoiding capture. But on Thanksgiving Day, she finally found her way to safety and a warm meal, a true blessing we are thankful for! Whitney is a sweet girl, but she`s going to need an extra special family. Her time on the streets has left her very cautious and timid. She needs a home where her humans understand that trust is something she will build slowly, one day at a time. Patience is Key! A family committed to working with her at her pace, using positive reinforcement and giving her space when she needs it. She will benifit from a calm household with minimal commotion where she can decompress and feel safe. A Predictable daily life will help her feel secure and settled. Families with previous experience working with shy or fearful dogs are strongly encouraged to apply. Whitney is now safe, warm, and ready to start the next chapter of her life. Can you give this lovely lady the ultimate Christmas gift of a loving home? Let`s make her first Christmas off the streets her best one yet! Interested in adopting Whitney?
