Maya is currently in the Paws Behind Bars Prison Training Program where she is learning basic commands such as sit, down, stay, door control, leash walking, potty trianing, etc. She is a beautiful, female, Viszla mix who weighs in around 50 pounds and is about 3-4 years of age. She was found wandering in a cemetery and was picked up as a stray and unclaimed. Maya is very friendly, a tad shy at first meeting, but just a sweet personality that wants to please and would make a wonderful companion and walking/hiking/running partner! Maya interacts well with other dogs and her absolutely gorgeous marble-like brown eyes will draw you in! To meet her is to love her!
