My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Churro, our resident “I hiss first and ask questions never” kitten. He’s young, he’s dramatic, and he’s convinced he’s a fierce panther trapped in a tiny body.
But here’s the truth: behind the hissy attitude is just a scared baby who needs a calm home, slow introductions, and someone who finds the spicy ones irresistible. With time and patience, Churro will realize humans are actually just treat dispensers with warm laps.
If you love a challenge and appreciate a little attitude, Churro’s your guy!
Churro is vaccinated, neutered, and healthy (fiv negative and felv negative)
If you are interested in adopting Churro please fill out adoption form on our website and our staff will review and reach out shortly (link to adoption form is below)

More about this rescue

Meowsquad is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization started in 2019. Our goal is to reduce the large stray and feral cat population of New York City by using Trap Neuter Return (TNR) techniques as well as working with the community to find forever homes for cats and kittens that can be resocialized. We also aim to relocate those who cannot be returned into safe, working environments.
