Meet Donner, a 3-year-old Golden Retriever mix who weighs 53 pounds and radiates pure sunshine wherever he goes. This happy boy is joyful, friendly, and always ready to make a new friend.
Donner keeps a clean run here at the shelter, and we’ve been told he is good with both dogs and cats. He was also reported to be good with kids as young as 5 in his last home. With his sweet temperament and gentle enthusiasm, it’s easy to imagine him fitting into a variety of families.
True to his Golden heritage, Donner loves to play and has plenty of energy to burn. He’ll thrive with an adopter who enjoys an active lifestyle and can provide him with the exercise, engagement, and fun he craves. Whether it’s yard zoomies, adventures, or simply being near his people, Donnor is all in.
If you’re looking for a bright, affectionate companion who will bring joy and motion to your days, Donner is your guy. He can’t wait to meet his forever family. His minimum adoption fee is $300 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.
He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
