My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Vader is a charming young gentleman with a playful spirit and a heart full of sweetness. Whether hes chasing toys, wrestling with the other cats, or enjoying a romp with the dog in his foster home, Vader loves having fun and being part of the action.

When he first arrives in a new home, Vader appreciates a little time to decompress and get his bearings-but once he feels comfortable, his affectionate and social nature shines. He enjoys meeting new people and will happily make friends with anyone willing to give him a gentle hello.

If youre looking for a playful, friendly companion who gets along beautifully with other pets and will bring joy to your home, Vader might be the perfect addition to your family!

More about this shelter

Richmond Animal League (RAL) is committed to saving lives by giving hope, help, and loving homes to animals in need. Our vision: All cats and dogs are in a loving home with access to the support they need to thrive.

RAL has been committed to saving the lives of animals and finding loving homes for pets for over 45 years. Since 1979, we’ve worked with area shelters to provide temporary housing, medical treatment, vaccinations, spay/neuter, and loving care to tens of thousands of pets who were then adopted into new homes.
