She came from a home where there were far too many cats for one person to care for – and when her previous guardian became terminally ill, her basic needs were heartbreakingly neglected. By the time she arrived in our care, this sweet girl had been surviving, not living.

But that part of her story is behind her now. Babs is healing, resting, and discovering what it means to feel safe. She’s finally learning what every cat deserves:

• Fresh, clean spaces
• Warmth, kindness, and gentle hands
• A place where she can exist without fear
She is still decompressing and figuring out the world, so she will thrive with a patient, cat-savvy adopter who understands that trust is earned slowly, tenderly, and respectfully. Babs isn’t asking for perfection — just someone who sees her, waits for her, and gives her the life she never had.
