My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

💛 Meet Babs — A Gentle Soul Ready for Peaceful Days Ahead

Babs is a tender little lady, about 12 years old, who has lived through more hardship than any cat should ever know. She came from a home where there were far too many cats for one person to care for – and when her previous guardian became terminally ill, her basic needs were heartbreakingly neglected. By the time she arrived in our care, this sweet girl had been surviving, not living.

But that part of her story is behind her now. Babs is healing, resting, and discovering what it means to feel safe. She’s finally learning what every cat deserves:
• Regular meals
• Fresh, clean spaces
• Warmth, kindness, and gentle hands
• A place where she can exist without fear
She is still decompressing and figuring out the world, so she will thrive with a patient, cat-savvy adopter who understands that trust is earned slowly, tenderly, and respectfully. Babs isn’t asking for perfection — just someone who sees her, waits for her, and gives her the life she never had.

Her ideal home is quiet, stable, and filled with soft places to rest. A human to spoil her!

Babs is not just looking for a home.
She’s looking her person —
a gentle heart who believes in second chances.

If you feel like she might be the one you’ve been waiting for, and you have love to give a girl who never truly had a chance, Babs may just choose
