| Estimated Birthday | 09-04-2025 |
| Okay to live in a home with... | Cats |
| May not do well with.... | Kids Dogs |
| Physical Description | Ares has a slightly slimmer nose and bit on the more petite side compared to his siblings |
| Personality | Ares is initially very shy around new people but will slowly warm up to you, when he does become comfortable he is very playful but a bit guarded. He can be rambunctious, mainly after he’s eaten and is full of energy. It’s hilarious when he gets the zoomies and jumps around everything, leaping from couch to couch or play wrestle with his siblings. He does much better with his mom around, she really brings out his personality and makes him feel more comfortable but for the most part he’s more shy and standoffish but he will slowly open up and will cuddle. |
| This kitty has what sort of characteristics? | Curious Mellow Lap cat Playful Shy at first |
| The best home to adopt me would be | Experienced cat family |
| The best home atmosphere would be | Quiet/calm |
| Other animals? | Slow intro needed with other cats Must be adopted with another kitten or to a home with a resident cat Does best with his mother who is very outgoing and friendly |
Apply to adopt here! Online cat application form Applications are also available on the website (www.yolospca.org)
It can take up to 3-5 business days to hear back once you have submitted an application.
The Yolo County SPCA is a private, not-for-profit, foster home-based animal rescue organization and does not have a shelter. All our animals awaiting adoption are in foster homes. For more information about this animal, please email yolospcafoster@gmail.com. For more general questions, please see our website at www.yolospca.org.
All of our felines have been altered prior to adoption. Kittens have been given their first shots of FVRCP, adults are up-to-date on vaccinations, and all cats have been Feline Leukemia tested (negative) and micro chipped. The fee to adopt is $135 for kittens or $80 for adults over 1 year (the fee helps cover these costs and the cost of the microchip registration). A reduced fee is available for adopting a second cat or kitten
