Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Brie and Mozzy, the perfect pair, looking for their new home!
Mozzy (Mozzarella)
Mozzy is a smart, charming little guy with a curious streak. He can be a bit reserved at first, but once he warms up, he’s incredibly affectionate. He loves to sneak around and find cozy spots to curl up in. He’s gentle and playful, and his inquisitive nature will keep you entertained as he explores new things.
Mozzy might take his time to adjust, but once he’s comfortable, you’ll find yourself falling for his sweet and thoughtful personality.
Brie
Brie is a goofy playful lovebug through and through! He’s snuggly, affectionate, and absolutely loves attention. This guy has a playful side, and his things are wand toys—he’s an expert at pouncing and chasing. Brie also enjoys sitting by the window, watching the world go by, especially the snow and the wildlife.
If you’re looking for a cat who loves to cuddle and play, Brie is your guy!
Brie and Mozzy, make the perfect pair for a quieter, more introspective home. They’ll warm up to you in no time, bringing endless love and companionship. They’re high-energy, like all kittens, but they also can be calm and snuggly. Each of these cats brings something special to the table, and they’re all looking for a loving home where they can feel safe and cherished.
They currently live in a house with two teens and two adults. They have been around other young adults and have met kids briefly, so would be fine with gentle, cat-savvy tweens/teens. These sweet, cautious guys will thrive in a calm, loving home with patient humans who can help them gain confidence and feel safe. They'll warm up to you fast. If you’re ready for double the kitten fun, these sweet little cheese puffs would love to meet you.
Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat? Please fill out Pet Haven’s adoption application: http://bit.ly/2fd9U2Fpethavenmnwww..org/adopt.
All ages and breeds are a best estimate. Adoption fees include a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%.
All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated. Cats are up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped. Please note there may be additional follow-up visits.

Pet Haven is a foster-based rescue. Our animals live with foster families until they are placed in permanent homes and their foster families get to know the dogs and cats learning important information about the animals. For example, the foster family will know if the dog or cat is good with other animals or children, and will have a good idea of what kind of training, attention, and special needs the pet may require. This makes our foster families great resources for potential adopters!

Our Vision
A Minnesota where all pets live in safe, loving homes.
Our Values
Excellence in service and care; community; integrity; innovation; perseverance; compassion; a rewarding place to volunteer
How We Help
Spay/Neuter Initiative Program: Providing support to end pet overpopulation in Minnesota
Owner Surrender: Providing a safe haven for pet owners
Foster: Committed to finding forever homes for cats and dogs
Phoenix Fund for Special Needs: Providing veterinary care for animals in need of healing
What We Do
We help dogs and cats find homes with loving families through foster-based care. Every dog and cat lives with a foster family until they find their forever families. We provide all of their basic needs including proper food, veterinary care, behavior training, and supplies.
Through in-home fostering, we learn about each animal’s temperament, personality, likes/dislikes, and any medical needs. With this first-hand information, we can then find the right family for each dog and cat.
Our volunteers also educate the public on responsible companion animal care and represent respect for animals at all times. Whether we’re working with prospective new families, meeting people at public events, or socializing with friends and family, we encourage others to view and treat their pets as members of the family. We are their guardians, and they depend on us for companionship and care.
We spay/neuter prior to adoption.
We microchip all our Pet Haven Pets and remain as a secondary contact.
We make sure all pets are up to date on required vaccinations
We test for Heartworm and Lymes in all our dogs and are transparent in the results and treament
We test for FeLV/FIV and are transparent in the results. We believe that cats who test positive still deserve a chance at a quality home.
We do not euthanize animals unless they have untreatable health or behavioral conditions that deny them an acceptable quality of life or makes them a serious threat to people, other animals, or themselves.
How We Operate
We rely on adoption fees, tax-deductible donations, grants, and special events to keep our rescue operating. Our staff, Board of Directors, and volunteers have provided the passion and commitment to keep Pet Haven a safe haven for animals for almost 70 years.
We are committed to preventing pet homelessness through the SNIP Grant. Since 2005, we have granted more than $240,000 to organizations in Minnesota to support spay/neuter initiatives.
