My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🐾 Meet Blackie — 3.5 Years Old, Loyal & Loving

Blackie came from a wonderful home where she and her dad were inseparable. When he entered hospice, his family reached out for help, and we promised to find her an amazing forever home.

She has been staying with one of our kind fosters and has formed a sweet bond, showing us that she can absolutely connect with the right person. Blackie prefers a calm, adult-only home and would do best as the only pet. She isn’t a fan of children, dogs, or other cats, but she loves having her own person to trust and be close to.

Blackie is ready for her next chapter—a peaceful home where she can feel safe, loved, and steady again.

If you’re looking for a loyal companion and have a quiet home, Blackie may be your perfect match.

More about this rescue

We are a 501c3 non-profit animal rescue. We mostly rescue cats, but occasionally we are able to take in a dog or two. We do not discriminate against which cats and kittens we help, so we may have felines with special needs, or FIV. We will always be up front if we know a cat has something specific. A lot of our rescued animals come from Eastern Washington as there are little resources there.
