My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Maru, our adorable 7-year-old Chi-Weenie with a heart full of love!
Maru is a sweet, gentle little guy who has the perfect mix of Chihuahua sass and Dachshund charm. At 7 years old, he’s past the puppy chaos and enjoys a calmer, more relaxed lifestyle—but still loves his walks, cuddles, and being near his people.

Maru gets along well with other dogs and would be happy as either an only pet or with a friendly canine companion. He’s affectionate, loyal, and truly thrives on companionship. Whether he’s curled up on the couch or following you from room to room, Maru just wants to feel safe and included.

He would do best in a loving home that appreciates a devoted, small companion who has so much love left to give.

If you’re looking for a sweet, easygoing friend to share your days with, Maru might be the perfect match for you ??

More about this rescue

We are a nonprofit organization in Gwinnett County, Georgia. We have a low-cost vet clinic (not full service), spay/neuter ,a TNR Program, and a Rescue/Adopt Program.

We started this organization because we love animals and want to be the voice for those who have no voice, and also help pet retention in homes by offering affordable veterinary care.

We would love to have volunteers to help with in-home fostering (some for two week quarantines, others to keep cats/dogs until they are adopted), cleaning, adoption events, Trapping cats for TNR, recovering female feral cats after surgery, and many other things.
