Hi! My name is Anna. I am a female 6-year-old Boston Terrier. I am spayed, microchipped, heartworm tested and current on my vaccines.

Before coming to CRHS Anna was living as an Amish breeding dog. She was not treated as a pet and, as a result she needs a lot of help to become the confident little dog she could be.
Anna is looking for that special person who is willing to work with her and understands that this will take time.

She needs help with house training, walking on a leash and feeling secure enough to give affection. Anna has been in foster care since the beginning of December. She has been living with another little dog and really benefits from having another dog around. She has made some good progress. She sleeps well at night in her own little bed. She plays with toys and plays with the other dog. She will walk on a leash as long as she leads the way. She does not yet choose to come to you for affection, but she likes to be close and will allow you to hold her and pet her.

Activity level/Energy Level (1-10): 5/10

I should do well in a home: Due to my shy demeanor any children in my potential home will need to be 8 years or older. I should do well in a home with other dogs given proper introductions and time to adjust. My friends at CRHS are unsure how I'd do with cats.
