Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This pint sized GRANDMA HOUSE HIPPO is the sweetest couch potato youll ever meet! Miss Rosie came to us with untreated diabetes. Now that shes been in a foster home and has had regular vet care, her blood sugar is stable and shes absolutely thriving! This little lady does require insulin injections every 12 hours. Due to her Diabetes, Rosie was also diagnosed with Cushings Disease, which is now well managed with daily medication. Unfortunately, because her diabetes had gone untreated for so long before coming to us, she is blind but can see some shadows. She gets around her house and surroundings so well, youd never know it! Shes a smart cookie and her other senses help her get around beautifully! Rosie does great with other mellow dogs, she is potty trained, will use a dog door, and can even still go up and down stairs in the home. This cutie would love to settle into a retirement home with you. We do not see Adopt-a-Pet inquiries! Please visit our website www.grandrivershumane.org to fill out an adoption application and learn more about our upcoming adoption event locations.
