My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Name: Nito
Age: 5 months
Gender: Girl
Location: Durham, NC

Nito is named after a sweet Mexican treat that goes with her sweet and crazy personality. She's got beautiful golden yellow eyes that'll capture your heart and likes to purr for her humans. Compared to her sibling, Nito would be considered the energetic younger sibling. One of Nito’s favorite things to do is zoomies and playing with other kittens. Nito goes crazy for any type of attention. She loves to play with toys and loves pets. Unlike her brother, Nito’s favorite activity is jump scaring other kittens in boxes and then chasing them. Nito thrives with other cats around. Nito is Osito’s sister but are open to separate adoptions if it's a good fit.

Nito is spayed and has had her rabies vaccine. If you'd like to meet Nito, reach out to Heather at catsonthehorizon@gmail.com. Nito looks forward to meeting you. There's a $40 adoption fee and reference is required.

More about this rescue

Note: We are not a non-profit 501-C3. Cats on the Horizon was started in 2017 with the idea that cats lives matter. I have a small group of rescue contacts who volunteer my time with foster in-take, TNR (trap neuter release) and adopting out cats in need of a good home.

Our Mission Statement:

To save cats lives through education, rescue, fostering and adoption.
