We met Ajay on a recent trip to Chicago Animal Care and Control. Our director fell instantly in love with this handsome Labby-Sheppy boy, and who can blame her? Ajay was relinquished to CACC by his family, who had lost their housing. They noted that he was wonderful with dogs and kids, and we can attest to the former. He made an instant friend in Jory! He gets along well with every dog he has met. Ajay also knows Sit, and likely other commends and tricks. We have a feeling that we have only scratched the surface of what this intelligent pup knows. He is very treat motivated, so the sky is the limit for him!
Ajay walks amazingly well on a leash, with minimal pulling. He keeps his kennel clean and spotless, so we assume he is well trained and housebroken(though accidents can happen in transition, of course!).
He is doing really well in our kennel, despite how heartbroken he must be. He is quiet and polite in the kennel, and happy, wiggly, outgoing and affectionate outside of it. Ajay is a well rounded and wonderful dog. We hope to see him back in a home where he belongs very soon. Please come and meet him this week!
Ajay’s adoption fee is $300. This animal is neutered, up to date on core vaccines, and Heartworm negative.
