Hi, I`m Bartlebee! I`m a petite pittie mix who is looking for a forever home. I was found wandering with my sister, and we were lucky enough to be transported up to WSHS! My personality is friendly, playful, affectionate, and sweet. I love to meet people of all ages. I do very well with other friendly dogs and get very excited when I have a chance to play with one. I am respectful of cats, but might try to play, so dog-savvy cats would be best for me. I may be small, but I have a lot of energy to burn! I love to spend my time playing with toys, doing zoomies around the yard, or going on walks around the neighborhood. When I`ve had enough of running around, I take a break for some snuggling and belly rubs. I`m working on my basic obedience and would love to continue learning with my new family! The West Suburban Humane Society (WSHS) is a volunteer-based, no-kill animal rescue that was founded in 1972 in the western suburbs of Chicago. WSHS now finds homes for more than 500 dogs and cats each year!
WSHS is 100% funded by individual, corporate, and private foundations donations, and has over 450 active volunteers! WSHS is caring for about 200 animals at any given time.
