My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Our rescue is based out of Pikesville, Maryland!  We typically do not adopt more than 45 minutes away from Pikesville, so please bear that in mind before you apply/get too attached.

Junior is a very sweet and easygoing kitty who was having a hard time on the streets. We think he's around three or four years old and he is just the most loving and affectionate little guy with the LOUDEST purr ever. He wants nothing more than human attention and affection, and although he does hiss at other cats so far, there's no fighting.

Junior is FIV+ which means he may have more difficulty fighting off illness and infections. He will most likely have a normal lifespan, but regular veterinary exams will be of particular importance in his case.

He's a big teddy bear of a boy with the most handsome face, most enthusiastic purr, and who just loves, loves, and loves!   If you want a great kitty companion, Junior would be a perfect fit.

Junior was neutered a little over a year ago by a good Samaritan. He's fully de-wormed, defleaed, microchipped, and he tested negative for Feline Leukemia.

Junior is a foster-to-adopt as he has other medical care in progress. I took him about three weeks ago because he had persistent URI symptoms. However, after his symptoms didn't budge from antibiotics and antivirals, we don't think he's actually sick and are scheduling for him to be checked for polyps. He also needs a tooth out. All this will be taken care of before any adoption is finalized.

Needs Must Cats will have received full vetting including spay or neuter, FIV/FLV testing, microchip, and treatment for parasites by time of adoption. The adoption fee in the amount below helps us assist more cats and kittens in urgent need. These fees do not even begin to cover our expenses so please consider making an additional donate to support our life-saving efforts!

  • Special Needs or Barn Cat - Donation
  • Adult Cat - $90
  • Kitten under 6 months - $150
  • Pair of Kittens - $275
